Timberline Lodge Elopement

Last winter we were honored to capture Randy & Melissa’s intimate Timberline Lodge Elopement. We had so much fun with the couple and their family. Walking outside was sketchy as it was icy and windy. Just walking from a car to the hotel entrance was tricky. It was very cold with 22 mile per hour winds, so the couple wisely opted to not go outside to do photos. But since the wedding was on a Thursday, the lodge was not too busy with people and we had some wonderful photo opportunities. The fireplace was the perfect backdrop for such an intimate wedding and we had a blast getting couple photos in the hotel after the ceremony and before the couple went off to dinner with their parents.

If you're looking to elope this winter, I highly recommend Timberline Lodge. A bus runs daily from Sandy Oregon to Government Camp, then up to Timberline Lodge.
