Rose City Beard & Moustache 2019 Competition

Last summer we were honored to be able to take photos for Portland Beadsmen at the Rose City Beard & Moustache #5 Presented by Honest Amish at Dantes in Portland, Oregon. It was such an amazing experience as we ran an interactive Photo Booth and took photos of some of the action on stage. We got to see some amazing and creative beards and mustaches. As well as having the pleasure of taking photos of the Portland Beadsmen in the past at a galla. They really love giving back and helping our community, and It was such a pleasure working with them and we were honored to take photos.

All the proceeds went to Cascade AIDS Project and their summer camp, Camp KC. They raised over $2,000 for Camp KC which according to their website is a fun and safe summer camp experience for children ages 5-15 who are living with and/or affected by HIV/AIDS.  Camp KC is a free, week-long overnight camp located on the Oregon Coast that is supported by donations, grants, and approximately 50 volunteers. Some camp activities include swimming in the lake, arts and crafts, music and dance classes, nature hikes, canoeing on the lake, drama, and archery. Additionally, we have a ton of all-camp activities that typically occur in the evenings after dinner. These activities include a camp dance, a daytime carnival with games and prizes, a movie night outside, and Camp KC’s Got Talent (talent show).
