Tips to Couple Photos for Fun People
Lloyd & Amanda got married at Lewis River Golf Course in Woodland, Washington which is 30 minutes from Portland, Oregon. They were such an amazing and fun couple. It was a very hot day but the reception was inside so they could do the ceremony and go right back inside until couple sunset photos when it had cooled down.
One of our favorite memories from this wedding is when Lloyd and Amanda raced golf carts down by the river. They had so many personal touches that made this wedding very special! We really loved how they had so many cute DIY decor such as half the ceremony site flowers and plants they grew and brought from home which then got moved to the reception area. The cake was made by a family friend. Lloyds sister was the officiant which added that special touch. They also did their own decor signs and table centerpieces.
Lewis River Golf Course Clubhouse was constructed using a rustic NW theme which features logs, river rock and hand forged iron accents throughout. The combination of indoor and outdoor event sites and our close proximity to the Portland/Vancouver Metro make Lewis River Golf Course a perfect choice for special events of all kinds from corporate outings and workshops to reunions, banquets, weddings and receptions.
Jansen Floral Effects did the brides flowers, cake flowers, sign flowers and the large vases at the ceremony site. We highly recommend all the wedding vendors as they were easy to work with and had great customer service.

Get that sunset in the background- Sunset photos are magical
Do couple photos after the ceremony- The couple is more relaxed then before the ceremony
Spend 30-60 minutes doing couple photos (more time for more locations)- don’t rush it but we understand you want to get back to the party.
Be playful- please be silly, laugh, and snort!
Don’t be drunk- no one takes great drunk photos, LOL. A drink can help however.
Have fun- It will show in the photos how much fun you were having, we promise!
