Real photos, no weird posing. Just your people, your moments, your story.

We’re Sightglass Photography — a laid-back, experienced team of wedding photographers based in Portland, Oregon. We believe wedding photos should feel like you: relaxed, genuine, and full of the people and moments that matter most.

With over 25 years of combined experience, we’ve photographed hundreds of weddings across Oregon — from big Portland celebrations to coastal elopements, forest ceremonies, and backyard weddings in the Willamette Valley. Whether you’re getting married downtown, in the Gorge, or somewhere off the beaten path, we’re here for it.

Our style is a mix of photojournalism and modern portraiture. That means we stay out of the way when we need to, step in with direction when it helps, and always aim to document your day as it really happened. We don’t do stiff poses or fake smiles. We’ll guide you just enough so things feel easy, not awkward.

We work with all kinds of couples and all kinds of weddings — big or small, formal or casual, loud or low-key. We’re comfortable working with a wide range of communication styles, personalities, and traditions. We support LGBTQ+ couples, and we create a space where everyone feels seen, respected, and celebrated.

We’re also body-inclusive and believe everyone deserves to feel good in front of the camera — no matter how they look or move. Whether you’re camera-shy or love the spotlight, we’ll meet you where you are and help you feel at ease.

We also know how important communication is — especially when you’re planning a wedding. We respond quickly (usually under 18 hours), we’re happy to help you plan the timeline, and we always show up early. We’re reliable, experienced, and really good at getting group shots done fast so you can get back to enjoying the party.

Our approach is simple: we want you to feel comfortable, seen, and celebrated — and to walk away with a set of images that brings you right back to the feelings of the day. Our past couples often tell us, “You captured moments we didn’t even know we’d want to remember,” and that’s exactly what we aim for.

So if you’re looking for Portland or Oregon wedding photographers who are equal parts fun, professional, inclusive, and down-to-earth — we’d love to chat.

Who is Sightglass Photography…

We are Eric (he/him) and Amber (she/her), a husband & wife wedding photographer team out of Portland, Oregon with a different story than most. Both of us actually had our own established wedding photography businesses, with years of experience behind us, before we ever met. We met each other at a wedding networking meeting, became friends and then fell in love in about a month of meeting each other. After a wedding season we merged our 2 businesses into Sightglass Photography. Eric really loves taking fine art images while amber loves showing your day through photojournalism and together we have blended out styles to give you a few fine art images while telling the story of your day through photos. We are very good at time blocking to ensure we don’t spread ourselves too thing and prove the best client experience to all our clients.
