Ainsworth House and Gardens is a stunning historic wedding venue located in Oregon City, Oregon, which is a suburb of Portland, Oregon. This beautiful venue is on two acres of lush gardens. The wedding was originally set for spring 2020 and was changed to a micro morning wedding. Ainsworth House & Garden is the perfect venue for weddings, parties and community events all year round. Their 3,000 square foot elegant reception facility comprises the Conservatory, Garden Room, and Fireside Room, and is matched by the outdoor patio and woodland area, including the magnificent Pine Tree Garden and formal main drive.

Ashley & Wes are such a fun in love couple who really rolled with all that went on in 2020. We met them during family photos that turned into a little engagement session. We have worked with Ashley’s family for almost 10 years for photos so it was amazing when we were asked to capture her wedding as Amber shot her younger brothers wedding. The wedding day started with some getting ready shots, a first look then family formals. The ceremony was so heartfelt yet funny and it was amazing to see and feel how happy every guest was. After the Ceremony, Ashleys dad said a few words and then brunch was served. They got to eat, mingle and then cut the cake. We loved the day and embrace when our clients do non traditional weddings. They didn’t do a first dance, or parent dances. Morning weddings definitely have a different vibe (a way less party vibe). Something we love about Ainsworth House and Gardens as a wedding venue is you can do outside photos on another part of the property when guests are arriving and they won’t see the couple. It really makes time management for photos a lot easier.
