1. Why Choose Camp Wilkerson for Your Wedding?

Natural Splendor: With 280 acres of dense forest, meadows, and a serene pond, the picturesque environment is ideal for romantic ceremonies.

Unique Experience: A camp-themed wedding gives guests a novel experience. Think bonfire receptions and stargazing after parties.

2. Booking & Reservations

Advance Planning: Popular wedding destinations like Camp Wilkerson fill up quickly. Ensure you book well in advance, especially if you're eyeing peak wedding months.

Accommodations: With cabins and numerous campsites, there's ample space for guests. Check the availability based on your guest list.

3. Theme & Decor

Rustic Vibes: Embrace the natural charm with wooden signage, lanterns, and fairy lights. Use locally-sourced flowers for centerpieces. Also you can incorporate personal touches just like they did with table settings of their favorite authors.

DIY Stations: Set up a DIY s’mores or hot chocolate station for a fun and interactive treat. Also dessert bars are a hit at a venue like this.

4. Dress & Attire

Comfort is Key: Given the outdoor terrain, consider lightweight, breathable fabrics. For footwear, think stylish boots or wedges which are more walkable than stilettos.

Layer Up: Even summer evenings can get cool. Encourage guests to bring cozy layers for nighttime festivities.

5. Entertainment & Activities

Nature Walks: Organize guided tours of the camp's scenic spots for guests.

Hang out: This venue is the perfect vibe for family and friends to hang out and catch up. Another cool perk is no cell phone service so your guests can spend time in the present.

Campfire Sessions: Gather around a bonfire for sing-alongs, storytelling, or just roasting marshmallows.

6. Local Vendors & Catering

Local Delights: Incorporate local Oregonian foods. Think fresh seafood, berries, and wines from the nearby valleys.

Eco-friendly Approach: Given the natural setting, opt for eco-friendly catering options and dishes that minimize waste.

7. Preparing for the Weather

Rain Plan: Oregon's weather can be unpredictable. This location has a few stunning indoor locations where you can have your ceremony and reception. We also recommend getting clear umbrellas if rain is in the forecast.

Stay Informed: Keep a close eye on weather predictions as your big day approaches and inform guests of any needed preparations.

Camp Wilkerson in Oregon promises a magical wedding venue that fuses the beauty of nature with the joy of celebration. As you plan your forested fiesta, remember to embrace the essence of the camp, ensuring your wedding is not just an event, but a cherished experence for all who attend.
